Why did you choose Salus?
I chose Salus because I felt an immediate sense of belonging on interview day, thanks to the warm and welcoming admissions staff and faculty. I was drawn to the early exposure to patient care and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) mission of shaping future optometrists who are dedicated to patient-centered care and community service. That initial feeling was only strengthened once I became a student and experienced the supportive environment created by classmates, professors, and upperclassmen. Being involved in student organizations like the National Optometric Student Association (NOSA) has helped me feel more connected and inspired by the collective passion to serve. As a bonus, the beautiful campus makes each day even more enjoyable. Choosing Salus has truly felt like choosing the right path.
