Mission

The College of Medicine has some of the most highly innovative and rigorous academic programs available today, incorporating Drexel University’s expertise in engineering and technology into patient-centered medical training. We are educating 1 in 78 medical students in the United States and more than 750 future biomedical scientists and health professionals.

The doctoral, master's and professional development programs at the Elkins Park Campus emphasize real-world experience and help guide students to make career decisions that best fit their abilities and evolving needs.

Blindness and Low Vision Studies Programs

BLVS program were developed at Salus University in 1983, the first institution in the country to offer four master's degrees and certificates in these areas of study.

International Programs

Global, Interprofessional, and Specialized Programming (GISP) offers international degree and certificate programs designed specifically for international cohorts. The division provides individualized student support services, including assistance with housing, integration into the University and local community, celebration of cultural events, organization of field trips, and securing mentors and tutors.

Professional Development

GISP offers professional-specific and interprofessional professional development programs for all of the University's professions. Our work also includes the development of policies and procedures to facilitate IPECP, expanding faculty development opportunities in IPECP, and designing, developing, and delivering practical, clinical, and experiential learning opportunities for pre- and post- licensure health professions learners.
